The last update made things as using Aruco marker worse and the app has not been updated in months.

Will it be fixed?

Currently working on an update https://github.com/introlab/rtabmap/pull/1451, including some fixes for marker detection. There are some workarounds with the current version till it the new version is released: see https://github.com/introlab/rtabmap/issues/1455 comments
