3D maps are noisy

I tried building a 3D map with stereo camera. The maps are too noisy. How do i make them better?

You may want to play with StereoBM parameters here:


For convenience, you can launch only the camera to see if the point cloud looks good when changing these parameters:



Note that if you are looking to have good 3D reconstruction indoor, you may switch to RGB-D cameras.
