Hardware configuration of a PC for good working with RTAB-Map

Hi all! I'm a new member of our forum and I have question that need your answers, guys! I'm now working on Visual SLAM with RTAB-Map package. While I'm working, my PC is usually crashed and totally got no feedback. Here is my PC configurations: - CPU: Intel i5-8400 2.8Ghz x6 - GPU: NV GT710 - RAM: 8GB - HDD - OS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (ROS Kinectic) So did this problem(crashed) come from hardware config not enough to work? I hope everybody can give me solutions to fix this! Thank you guys very much and wish you have a nice day!

Is rtabmap crashing? or the whole computer? Check the RAM usage to see if it goes in the swap or not. I don't see a problem with your spec, it should run correctly.

Hi Matt!
Firstly thank you alot for reply me. I already worked with RTAB-Map, everything ran perfectly. But sometimes my whole computer crashed not only RTAB-Map. I haven't check on my memory but I'm pretty sure it can not be seen in the swap area. I will work on it again to see all tasks management and meet you when my computer crashed one more time.
But can you give us ideal PC configuration to work smoothly?

Anyway thanks again Matt, I appreciated your support!
