Rtabmap picking up shadows in simulation

What is everyone's experience in dealing with shadows that are picked up as physical objects when running rtabmap? Are there ways to get around it?

Shadows won't create "physical" objects, so no obstacles would be added if a shadow is moving. The shadow will change color of some points in the cloud though.
