Ok thanks for the answer; I will start working on that.

Another question is about the pointclouds. I would like to use the configuration with a 3D grid map and a 2D grid map but with 2 cameras and a laser as I would like to maximize the precision and details of the maps. I already know how to mix the pointcoulds generated by each camera but, how do I make rtabmap use of this pointcloud for creating the maps? Is there a way to remap from this to scan_cloud or there exist a determined parameter to remap? (if there is where can i find it to avoid repeatdly questioning)
Note that the point cloud has format /camera_merged/depth/points
