Your suggestions have lead to better results so thanks a lot for your help.
Not afraid of coding so when you say to merge 24 images in a single SensorData do you refer to the one that is commented as // Multi-cameras RGB-D constructor?
If so do I simply just make a 24 image wide collage (with no stitching or fancy overlapping) and set the transform of each in camera model vector?
