Hi, you should not source setup.bash as root.

I cannot really hep about your low graphics mode problem (it looks more an Ubuntu problem), but what happens if you do the following:

$ source /opt/ros/kinetic/setup.bash
$ source ~/catkin_ws/devel/setup.bash
$ roslaunch rtabmap_ros rtabmap.launch
