thanks for the very detailed explanation, we are currently investigating it and tomorrow I will tell our outcomes!

Do you know where I can find some more informations about these parameters in yaml files? I understood the launch file parameters and run across the ROS Wiki many times, but the only place I found is the Navigation tutorial, but many parameters from your files are missing there, is there an official reference somewhere?
